So… this should go over well. Want to read the most offensive thing you’ll probably see all day—if not all week (I’d say all month, but I’m pretty sure that another celebrity will do something even dumber and more offensive by the end of the month—I mean, Lohan’s out of jail now, so it just stands to reason)? Well, lucky us, Morrissey decided to let loose with something pretty horrible.

Poor Morrissey just can’t catch a break. Last week, we reported on the hypocrisy that’s being advertised on the singer’s concert tickets with the marketing of Denny’s hamburgers, which as an avid vegetarian he can’t be happy about. Now we hear he injured himself during a concert this weekend and was just released from the hospital.

Are you a die hard fan of Morrissey? Like most mammals, do you like to eat when you’re hungry? This sounds like the perfect deal for you, because according to ConsequenceofSound, Ticketmaster and Denny’s have teamed up to bring you free food at your next concert. We should be getting something for free considering how expensive those tickets are!

This just in… the Kanye West/ Lady Gaga “Fame Kills” tour has officially been scraped. Rumor is that it was Gaga who scrapped the tour, not her rehab-hinting, award show stopping, fake outrage attracting tour mate Mr. West. Maybe she couldn’t find anything to wear. You can refunds at point of purchase.
Another slow week on the sale fronts. Because of that, as promised, here’s another cute animal video.

Morrissey has a request for his fans: Please don’t buy any of the forthcoming box set reissues from his back catalogue consisting of solo material from 1988 until 1995.
A statement on behalf of the onetime Smiths singer reveals that he is annoyed that he will not be receiving any money from record label EMI for the double box set release of The 7″ Singles ’88-’91 and The HMV/Parlophone Singles ’91-’95, set for release on November 2.
Morrissey also claims he was not asked for approval for their release.
The singer’s declaration was issued on the fan site True-to-you.net.

So, the Coachella line up (potential line-up – there could be additions) has officially been posted! From the looks of it, the roster of artists is very spread out in terms of genre, mainstream, and quantity. Friday’s giving us Girl Talk, Morrissey, and the Ting Tings. Saturday’s presenting Dr. Dog, Fleet Foxes, and MSTRKRFT. Then Sunday anticipates Jenny Lewis, No Age, and Vivian Girls…. However, the question is: What is the quality of this line up?
We’ve been hearing mixed reactions to the line-up and some of them have been extremely disapproving or extremely delighted. So we want to know one thing. If you had to choose ONLY ONE DAY out all all three dates, which day would you go to Coachella for?
See the entire 2009 Coachella line-up.
