Brilliant pop producer/ convicted murderer/ batshit nuts hairdo enthusiast Phil Spector is at it again – no, he’s not shooting innocent people; rather, the man behind the classic Wall of Sound now has yet another sonic notch in his belt, having produced his first record in 30 years, according to Billboard. Spector, who is currently serving a 19-year sentence for the 2003 shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson, produced Out of My Chelle, the debut album from his wife, Rachelle Spector, between his first and second murder trials in 2007 and 2009.
Spector says in a statement to the press that Rachelle is “fantastic on this album.” He then fixed a wide-eyed, emotionless stare at the center of wall and began to hum atonally. Thirty minutes later he briefly stopped and offered to “make with the stab-stab” to anyone who disagreed.

Listeners of the popular song, “Chapel of Love,”by Dixie Cups may be a feel more down when they hear this now. Influential songwriter, Ellie Greenwich, passed away last night after she was admitted into a hospital for pneumonia a few days before.
Greenwich died from a heart attack at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.

Legendary U.S. music producer Phil Spector has been sentenced to 19 years to life in prison on Friday for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
Spector, 69, who invented the “Wall of Sound” and worked with renown artists like The Ronettes, The Beatles, Cher and Ike, and Tina Turner, was accused of shooting Clarkson, 40, in the mouth in the foyer of his mock castle home in Los Angeles on February 3, 2003. The two had met at the House of Blues nightclub just hours before.
