Prince booting Kim Kardashian offstage during his Madison Square Garden concert Monday night is awesome. But having the actual footage of Prince telling Kim Kardashian to “Get off the stage!” is close to priceless.
After being pulled on stage by Prince, Kardashian basically froze. All that performing talent on display in her Carl’s Jr. TV ad was apparently lost Monday night when the opportunity presented itself to bump and grind with the Princely One.
See the video footage below!

Looks like Prince fans weren’t able to enjoy the Super Bowl revelry last weekend as much as, say, those people who inexplicably love Tron and orgies of shameless lowest common denominators of pop music. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Purple One was set to perform a Friday Super Bowl pre-show, a pre-show that never happened.

Because he’s one of the most gifted musicians in pop music in the past thirty years (but certainly not because the resultant crush of endless amounts of money, fame, adulation, hangers-on, yes men, and sycophants have left him totally alienated from reality while conversely bloating his ego to point of making decisions that just make no sense), Prince can pretty much do whatever he wants at this point in the game.
And if that includes refusing to release his new album to anyone but subscribers of European newspapers because the internet is no longer a viable means of communication and information transmission, well… let’s all just try really hard to remember how great the Purple Rain and Sign ‘o The Times albums were, ok?

We all know how much Prince loves the Twin Cities. Just take a listen to the fight song he wrote for the Minnesota Vikings before the Super Bowl. Well, he’s still tight with his hometown. So tight enough that a Minneapolis radio station was the first place to debut a new song of his. The track, “Cause and Effect” is a lot to take in under just five minutes.

The Super Bowl is less than a month away and many are excited for the big event which will happen on February 7th. These many people include musician, Prince. Apparently, he was so excited about Minnesota Vikings’ big win last weekend that he went ahead and wrote a fight song for the team to get everyone pumped up.
The song is titled, “Purple and Gold,” and it has gotten everyone talking about its strength or lack of strength for a football fight song. There have been a few good reviews of the song, but there have mostly been negative reviews. Minnesota’s own Pioneer Press goes as far to call it “Purple and Mold.”

New to the whirlwind information cycle of all things Michael Jackson, there is a report that Prince is in talks for a Michael Jackson tribute performance at the World Music Awards, scheduled for November 15th in Monaco. Janet Jackson is slated to appear to accept an award that will be given to her brother.
As huge a star Michael Jackson was in the ‘80s, Prince was right there with him (Madonna not far behind). The Prince vs. Michael Jackson debate is a fun one to have with your fellow music fans. Regardless if you prefer the King of Pop to His Royal Purpleness, or the other way around, a Prince musical tribute sounds like a good idea. Prince performing “Billie Jean” or “Working Day and Night” has got to interest any and all pop fans.
Interestingly, back in May Prince declined an invitation from Michael Jackson to go on a joint world tour.
Check below to see a clip of Michael Jackson and Prince performing together with James Brown.
