Just when we think Michael Jackson news has died down, another great tribute to the artist surfaces to make us relive all the great moments with the King of Pop again. Although the film, This Is It, was released months ago, the music video of the same title has been unveiled.
Whether intentionally released or not, the video directed by Spike Lee combines footage of Jackson’s childhood, great shots from his breathtaking performances and, of course, all the fans who are still honoring him.

This Halloween weekend, Michael Jackson‘s This is It dominated the box office charts across the globe, by pulling in over 100 million dollars worldwide over the course of five days. Music fans from all walks of life showed up to catch their last glimpse of Jackson with this limited engagement and it paid off big time.

Overall, we were extremely impressed with the way that director Kenny Ortega was able to piece together the film so that it’s not an over-the-top tear jerker but a celebration of the wonderful and creative life that Michael Jackson lead.

Michael Jackson‘s This is It, won’t hit theaters until October 28th, but the lead single off the movie’s official soundtrack has already hit the net. Over at MichaelJackson.com, they began streaming the song, “This is It,” early Monday morning at the stroke of midnight. The song proves that even in his last days, MJ still had “it.”

Tickets went on sale this weekend for the Michael Jackson music documentary This Is It. Unsurprisingly, fans gobbled up all 3,000 tickets in just two hours Sunday in Los Angeles for an advance screening of the film,which features Jackson rehearing for his 02 concert dates in London in the weeks leading up to his death.
Some very enthusiastic fans lined up three days in advance to get their hands on the tickets.
The film debuts simultaneously in 15 cities around the globe, including New York, Los Angeles, London and Berlin on Oct. 28 for a limited two-week run.

This is it. The barrage of posthumous Michael Jackson song releases has begun.
The first Michael Jackson track since his death is set to be unveiled on Oct. 12 – a brand new single entitled “This Is It.”
Following the release of the single, Sony Music will release the two-disc album This Is It on October 27th, which features the music that inspired Sony Pictures’ film Michael Jackson’s This Is It, due for a worldwide release in theaters on Oct. 28th.
