When the lead vocalist (or guitarist) of a band decides to make an album ‘alone’ one question is raised — is he going solo? It’s okay to get this kind of paranoia, after all John Lennon left the Beatles, Morrissey left The Smiths, and Robert Plant left Led Zeppelin, all to go at it ‘alone.’ But there are also those like Thom Yorke, Chris Martin, and Jenny Lewis who’ve done both. In the case of Gym Class Heroes‘ lead Travis McCoy, he’s sticking to the latter.
