Not a lot of big names this week in new album releases but definitely a lot of big talent. From Against Me!, (pictured above) the band Rolling Stone called “The Best Punk Band,” to R&B crooner with the sweet voice, Maxwell, there is something for all types of music lovers to enjoy.  Unfortunately, Kiss Kiss had their album leak last week, hopefully that doesn’t effect their sales.

Punk rock band, Against Me!, starts touring today but after October 31st their frontman, Tom Gabel, will be going solo. Performing with other frontmen such as Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Ben Nichols (Lucero), and Tim Barry (Avail), he will be promoting his solo EP, Heart Burns.

The album is due October 28th via Sire Records. It includes several guest appearances including Ragan and Alakaline Trio’s Matt Skiba.

He talks about all of this at ifeelsicktomystomach.blogspot.com, but catch Gable on his MySpace as he plans to post a video for each week with live audio of him singing on camera. They will be videos of exclusive material that is not on Heart Burns.
