An exclusive video trailer has been released featuring Amy Winehouse performing a duet of the classic “Body and Soul” with Tony Bennett for his upcoming Duets II album.
The song was recorded at London’s Abbey Road studios in April, just a few months before Winehouse passed away in her home in July. The official video for their “Body and Soul” duet is set to premiere on September 14th, Amy’s birthday.

That’s right. Anderson Cooper’s new talk show entitled Anderson (what else?) will premiere on CNN Monday, September 12th, booking Mitch and Janis Winehouse (Amy’s parents), Alex Winehouse (her brother), and Reg Traviss (her boyfriend) as his first interviewees. It should be noted that this will be the first public interview with Winehouse’s family since Amy’s tragic passing on July 23rd.

Well, at the risk of sounding crass… this is kind of a surprise: The Washington Post reports that Amy Winehouse’s toxicology reports indicate that the recently deceased pop and soul singer with substance abuse problems had no illegal drugs in her system at the time of her death last month.

Following a rather miserable showing in Belgrade, Serbia on Saturday, Amy Winehouse has decided to cancel the rest of her 12-city European summer concert tour, her spokesman said Tuesday.
Chris Goodman said Winehouse, who has long had struggles with drug and alcohol abuse, “is withdrawing from all scheduled performances” to focus on recovering.

If anyone ever makes a biopic of Charlie Sheen…well, they’ll have their work cut out for them, since it will be tough to tell that life story without making it seem like the most ridiculous tale ever told. Still, if someone were to make the movie, we could see the music of Amy Winehouse making its way into the soundtrack. If anyone ever tries to make Sheen go to rehab, we know exactly what he’ll say…

So the last time we heard from Amy Winehouse was when she accused Mark Ronson of stealing credit for her hit album, Back To Black. Whether they worked it out or not, that album was a complete Godsend for US music in 2007. (The album was released a year earlier in the UK). We’ve also been speculating over Winehouse’s aim at making a new album to follow that masterpiece up for quite some time now.
To satisfy our curiosities (after doing a cover of Lesly Gore’s “It’s My Party” for Quincy Jones‘ upcoming album), she did mention she was indeed in the middle of getting everything together in order to put new material out. Well, some extremely lucky fans who attended a charity event last night in the UK got the treat of their life when Winehouse went up on stage for an unscheduled and intimate performance – which included some of those new songs! As you’ve read, Ronson has made a pretty great name for himself as a producer considering he started out just like any other guy as a DJ. He also garnered critical acclaim alongside Amy Winehouse for her album as it spawned hits such as “Rehab” and “You Know I’m No Good.” Ever since Black to Black became a success story, Winehouse’s name has usually been paired up with her crazy-of-an-ex Blake or her producer Mark Ronson.
However, Ronson and Winehouse may not be sitting next to each other in the studio any longer. After an interview Ronson did as part of the popular Later With Jools Holland show, Wino has once again attacked someone publicly on a social media domain. Her words this time around? “Mark Ronson: You’re Dead To Me.”
