Ariel Pink has always been considered to be quite eccentric in both his music style and stage persona. He’s released some extremely odd videos to accompany the songs that are “freak-folk,” with this latest one being “Mistaken Wedding.” However, it’s his music that has caught people’s attention and however weird he may be on stage or in person, people will always give Ariel Pink’s music a chance.

We’re here giving you five more reasons to get out of the house this weekend, with an unintended theme of evolution. Some of these acts go by another name or have gone by other names in the past, which we found to be an interesting line of commonality – one not deterring from the material they serve, nonetheless. Others have changed/interchanged members throughout the years but have retained their same spunk and sparkle. All in all, they kick ass… and that’s what’s really important, yes? We thought so.
