Now that’s how I like to wake up in the morning, staring at a hot off the presses lineup for the 9th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival, to be held Oct. 8-9 at Zilker Park in Austin.
This year’s edition features Phish headlining Friday, Muse wrapping up Saturday night and a final day headline set by none other than the Eagles. Then there’s M.I.A., Flaming Lips, the Strokes, Band of Horses, The Black Keys and Spoon who represent just a handful of the 130 acts scheduled to play the festival.

Good news, music fans. If you cannot make it to Austin this weekend for the Austin City Limits Music Festival, the kind folks at Hulu will be streaming the festival live from Austin’s Zilker Park starting this Friday.
The Hulu live stream kicks-off at 2 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hulu’s coverage of the weekend-long concert will feature 26 musical performances from the likes of Dave Matthews Band, John Legend, Ben Harper & the Relentless 7 and The Dead Weather, to name a few.

Fact: Austin, TX is known as the Live Music Capital of the World. Those of you who are keen to SXSW know this to be true, but for anyone who still needs proof, check out the lineup for this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival (Oct. 2-4).
The 3-day festival’s lineup features some of the summer’s most hyped-up headliners: Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and the Beastie Boys. Anyone solely interested in these three groups might prefer to hit up Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco this August (the headliners are identical), but ACL has a few world-class twists that justify the trek to the Lone Star State.
