It’s a well known fact that Lady Gaga is beyond out of control. Not only has she been causing a some more drama around the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy lately but now we begrudgingly report that her meat-dress from the VMAs is now being turned into “jerky.” Gross? Yes. How? According to the NY Daily News, the designer of Lady Gaga’s infamous meat-dress says that he will “archive the dress for posterity.” I suppose people take their own routes to make their personal accomplishments stand out more, but am I right when I say most of us could care less?
What we do care about are bands putting a fresh spin on songs that have been beating us over the head all year long. Enter, British new wave alternative rock band, Klaxons. Although we’ve heard plenty of “Bad Romance” covers, the trio’s naked, live take done in Australia for the radio program, Like A Version, is a little spookier and a bit more organic than any other renditions we’ve heard. We have to admit that we were a bit skeptical about Lady Gaga‘s artistry in the beginning. However, when she released the song and accompanying video for “Bad Romance,” we couldn’t help but jump on the Gaga train. Not only was she dripping in Alexander McQueen fashion in the outrageously freak-of-nature themed video but it’s also the perfect mainstream pop song in many ways. So it doesn’t surprise us to know that there are probably hundreds of decent covers by all sorts of musicians, but we’ve found one that is done exceptionally well.

The fashion world mourned one of it greatest designers of this generation as a public statement was sent out regarding Alexander McQueen‘s death this morning. According to the AFP, The British designer, who was also known simply as Lee McQueen, was found dead inside a London apartment. Although investigations have yet to make official confirmations, it is apparent that it may have been suicide.
Known for influencing many other designers with his avant-guard designs head of his time, McQueen was also a major influence on general pop culture. He’s dressed everyone from Nicole Kidman to Sarah Jessica Parker, and singers such as Rihanna and Victoria Beckham. However, he was more well in tune with the music industry than the world may have known.

After all the scary Lady Gaga Halloween costumes we’ve all seen this year and “Poker Face” becoming one of the hardest songs to get out of our heads (in the most annoying way possible), we never thought we would bring you something new from attention-seeking pop star. But alas; we must.
It’s honestly somewhat difficult not to talk about her because there’s just a lot of insanity to poke fun of. Who wasn’t sad when the Fame Kills tour with Kanye was canceled? There could have been so many WTF moments to ridicule… which brings us to Lady Gaga’s new video for “Bad Romance.” The song is catchy in an expected irritating way, but the visuals that accompany the music is what’s favorably caught our attention.
