That or the music supervisors thought it would be hilarious to have her cover Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” as part of the Sex and the City 2 soundtrack.
Greyson Chance, who? There’s a new viral video and it involves children even younger than twelve-years-old! This time around, it involves a group of 7-year-olds at a dance competition which took place in Pomona, California about a month or so ago. However, if you’ve already thought that Beyoncé and seven year olds don’t really go together, then you’re on the same path as the media… This is one viral video that did not get praise.
There were plenty of commercials during the Super Bowl last night with musical guest appearances including KISS, T-Pain, Will.I.Am., and even Stevie Wonder (in the previously mentioned Volkswagon/Grizzly Bear ad). Most of them were well-received based on levels of humor or cleverness. However, not all of them were accepted by viewers and critics. Vizio, who had a one minute spot for its new VIA TV and started their ad with Beyoncé singing “Sweet Dreams,” was a severe hit or miss.
Last night was the big night for the music industry. The 52nd Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles’ Staples Center and everyone from Justin Beiber to Jeff Beck showed up for the special event. Also, like usual, they managed to cram in 16 performances into a three hour show.
Although, we have to admit, with the exception of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, The 3-D Michael Jackson tribute, and Mary J. Blige/Andrea Bocelli duet, the show didn’t live up to the hype last night. Whether you tuned in or missed out last night, we’ve got all the performances for you to watch below!

What’s eating Kanye West? For those of you who live on the east coast you were given an eye full of controversy thanks to the resident mad rapper. According to MTV, West and girlfriend Amber Rose were asked to leave this year’s Video Music Awards thanks to one of his famous rants. West barged onto the stage and interrupted Best Female Video winner Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech and was met with confusion, anger, and eventually boos.
