Brian Wilson To Rejoin The Beach Boys?

Mike Love, current frontman for the Beach Boys and all-around Darth Vadar of the group, has always been a pretty honest, accurate guy. After all, this is the guy who once derisively called ex-Beach Boy and pop genius Brian Wilson’s classic Smile record a “whole album of Brian’s madness,” and even further, once dropped this nugget on an unsuspecting populace while discussing why you should catch the current Brian Wilson-less live incarnation of the Beach Boys (a.k.a., not really the Beach Boys): “Close your eyes and not only do we today replicate exactly how the original songs sounded, but the technology has gotten better so we even sound better.” Because “Kokomo” always sounds good, no matter what half-assed reconfiguration of a once-classic band is performing it, am I right?
So when Spinner reports Love saying that all of the original surviving members of the Beach Boys are reuniting, including Brian Wilson (members Carl Wilson died of cancer in 1998 and Dennis Wilson drowned in 1983), you know you can believe it.
