Eminem has said he’s prepping his next album, but until now hadn’t revealed when exactly his follow-up to Recovery would be released. This week, we got that confirmation… on a hat. Quite appropriately, it was announced today via Britney Spears’ official website that Nicki Minaj - pop and R&B’s colorful answer to the bland and and same-old - will be joining the living legend on her Femme Fatale Tour. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster.com on April 30th, and the 26-city tour will run from June 17 in San Francisco to August 13 in Toronto, Canada.

She’s a generic pop star, plain and simple, and since the beginning of her career she’s been the kind of celebrity whose image goes hand in hand with blatant consumerism. Our crazy, shot-in-the-dark prediction? The video will, who knows, involve a scantily clad Spears lip-synching while surrounded by backups dancers. It’s just a guess.
