The Manchester, UK duo have been laying the beats since 1991, and have made no notions to stop; in fact, their latest album release, Further, hit stores on June 14, 2010, and has created a media buzz all over the print and web. Further is the band’s seventh studio album, and Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons have not been shy in exploring new noises, beats, and vocal mixing. In relation to their previous work, Further has been deemed as their most psychedelic and melodic album yet, an experimental path for the duo to walk down.

Fans with zero patience for silly album release dates have a nice opportunity to check out both groups’ latest musical output on the glorious web as each bands is streaming their upcoming albums in full.
The Chemical Brothers gave their fans, filmmakers, and artists, a chance to participate in their new music video “Midnight Madness” via Google Earth. Fans, artists, filmmakers, and anyone else who wanted to participate were asked to create a 2-20 second video using the “Midnight Madness” theme. The video could be a picture, a movie, a conceptual piece, anything that they could film and send in within the time limit that had to do with “celebrating the insanity that goes on at the stroke of midnight… [and] the odd things that people get up to at the midnight hour.”
The results are in and the video has been made. Here is what they came up with…
