As we all know, Haiti’s capital city, Port-au-Prince, is still in need of help after their recent and devastating earthquake. Hollywood icons and major music acts are encouraging everyone around the globe to donate what they can. Every cent toward the Haiti relief is money well spent for help all disastrous occurrences in one of the world’s poorest countries.

Now, charities who support other purposes are reaching out to give to these charities focused on Haiti. One in particular is the Red Hot Organization, who mainly supports funding for HIV/Aids awareness. Their latest project, Dark Was the Night, is now going towards Haiti relief. The lineup was revealed today for the compilation disc “Dark Was the Night.” The album will be released mid-Feburary of next year is support of the AIDS/HIV awareness group, The Red Hot Organization.

The compilation album is expected to include thirty two exclusive tracks from big indie names such as Andrew Bird, Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, and The National and will be available as two CDs, 3LPs or a digital download.
