The new Eels album will be coming out shortly and the video for the song, “In My Younger Days” has been officially hit the Internet. The new songs have the uncanny ability to be both simple and yet touching at the same time. The new video is really sweet. It isn’t the normal type of video where there is a guy pining after a girl, strumming away on the guitar, and looking sad. Instead, it is just a man and his dog going on a driving somewhere.

The man behind Eels, Oliver Everett, is definitely in a creative groove. Just six months after the release of Hombre Lobo: 12 Songs of Desire, Eels already have a new album ready to drop.

End Times, due January 19th, features 14 tracks, which were mostly recorded in Everett’s Los Angeles basement studio. It’s the eighth studio album for Eels.
