Elton John‘s husband David Furnish had a strong, negative reaction to Madonna‘s Sunday night win at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Like John, Madonna was nominated for Best Original Song, but when Adam Levine announced Madonna as the winner, neither John nor Furnished took it well. It seems like the start of yet another pop diva feud.

Elton John is a performer in every sense of the word. While some musicians make up for a lack of musical skill with, let’s say, an ”engaging” stage show (we’re looking at you, KISS), others are true artists who sadly lack the charisma to get an audience interested.
Elton John would be a great star if it was simply for his songs, but his ability to share his infectious enthusiasm with fans is what allows him to be a legend. So, it makes sense that he was not only the musical guest on last weekend’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” but also the host as well.

Elton John and his partner of 17 years, David Furnish, got something a little better than tube socks or a $5 Barnes and Noble giftcard (sigh, thanks great-grandma) for Christmas this year—a newborn baby. Well, I never thought I’d have a chance to warn my fellow populace in such a manner—that is, until today. Because today, I’ve been given a chance to warn you all that—sigh, deep breath—Lady Gaga and Elton John are set to record a duet for the upcoming Disney film, Gnomeo and Juliet. This is the end, folks.

There’s been a lot of hushed whispers concerning who the replacement for Simon Cowell will be on American Idol. The judging table is now uneven with only Kara DioGuardi, Ellen DeGeneres and Randy Jackson waiting for the fourth voice in the TV show. There’s been rumors of Jazz crooner, Harry Connick Jr., and Roots rocker, Chris Issak, so far. Who’s the the latest to be thrown into this frenzy now that the deadline (in September) for a new judge is coming up?
Two pop stars each in their own right: Justin Timberlake and Elton John. Are they still only rumors? Pretty much. Find out why after the jump!

Turns out that Elton John will be joining the increasingly long list of artists who are not playing in Arizona – although, in his case, it’s not exactly his fault. The flamboyant singer “was forced to postpone Wednesday night’s concert in Arizona after coming down with a case of food poisoning,” according to Spinner, leaving the 9,000 fans who planned on seeing him at the Tuscon Arena with absolutely nothing to do on Wednesday, since almost no one is touring through AZ now.
