The Elvis Presley business is a profitable one, a mega-popular brand that steadily rolls along 33 years since the singer’s death, pleasing longtime fans and attracting younger audiences just learning about “Jailhouse Rock” and Graceland.
So it’s no surprise Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), which oversees Presley’s music publishing and worldwide licensing, takes copyright infringement seriously; EPE is suing men in Florida and England on claims of copyright infringement and illegal sale of a DVD and CD box set of recordings and footage of ‘The King.’

The Smithsonian may be honoring the King of Rock and Roll today but for Elvis Presley‘s 75th birthday, musician Lightspeed Champion (aka Dev Hynes) has offered us a free download and a video.
The track is a cover of Presley’s 1963 song, “(You’re the) Devil in Disguise,” and it manages to stay true to the sound of the 60s but we also hear Hyne’s baroque and folk pop touch on his spin. Take a listen below!
