Jay-Z and Eminem have reunited once again. They said they were going to do it in a big way and that’s exactly what they last night. To kick off their “Home to Home” tour – a few select dates where they will perform four concerts together – they took over Detroit’s Comerica Park last night with guest appearances. According to Hip-Hop Wired, guests from the first show in Detroit included Memphis Bleek, Young Jeezy, 50 Cent and G-Unit. We’ve got some footage of the grand opening night below courtesy of RapRadar (via Hip-Hop Wired).

Last week, Katy Perry released her latest album Teenage Dream, which debuted at number one of the Billboard 200 chart. She knock summer mainstay Eminem down a peg with the disc that sold 192,000 copies. Granted that’s nothing compared to what Em or several other artists did their first week out the gate but it was good enough to claim the crown — for this week at least.

Wow…wow! Seriously wow. This is what happens when a tornado meets a volcano — you get Megan Fox, an abusive relationship and fire. MTV debuted Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie,” last night and yes, it’s one of the best fucking music video, ever.
Rapper Eminem and pop singer Rihanna didn’t only get together to make a beautiful song, they went the extra mile (har, har) and made an amazing music video about an abusive relationship. You don’t need to be a Hollywood-gossip news junkie to know that both of these entertainers have dealt with abusive relationships, so when you see a music video like the one you’re about to see, there’s a very personal feeling involved and you can see that play throughout.

Maybe it’s the cultural differences, or perhaps it’s something in the food over there, who knows – what is known for sure, however, is that Welsh singer/ chest hair enthusiast Tom Jones’ new album, Praise and Blame, has managed to outsell Eminem’s monstrously dominant Recovery album in the U.K., according to NME. So I guess that (wait for it… wait… wait for it…) it’s not unusual to be loved by anyone… in the U.K. (heeyyy-ohhhh, rimshot!).

Big news for Eminem this week – his pretty-good-since-it’s-at-least-not-Relapse-again album Recovery was released last week, and according to Billboard, the thing is selling like crazy. How crazy? Like AC/DC and Coldplay crazy (and isn’t it a little disheartening that those bands are the metrics by which bestselling records are now based?).

MTV reports that Eminem has done some maturing in the past few years out of the public eye (and ears). In a New York Times Magazine interview promoting his new record, Recovery, Marshall Mathers admits that he’s discovered a newfound clarity with sobriety, and that, for now anyway, his ‘Slim Shady’ alter-ego is something of the past.

Eminem’s latest album, Recovery, has inevitably leaked on to the internet and everyone is up in arms about it. How did it happen? What are we gonna do? Honestly, if anyone is still surprised that this happens… please jump off a cliff just like Em does in his latest video.
It’s 2010, people. Everything is leaked and ripped on to the internet. Even if it doesn’t leak, when it comes out it’ll be uploaded for people to download immediately. The true fans WILL buy the albums and pay for it legally. People who are just curious and half-interested will most likely download them illegally.

In what is essentially one of the most bizarre collaborations in recent memory, Eminem has teamed up with absolutely horrid pop star (well, ‘star’ is kind of pushing it at this point) Pink to record “Won’t Back Down” for Em’s upcoming disc, Recovery, due June 22nd. It’s one of those pop culture collusions that you’d think is so oddball and leftfield that it would just have to work, right?

Eminem is back to doing what he loves — bashing on people. He must be tired of dissing entertainers (Mariah, Christina Aguilera, and Michael Jackson) because his latest victim is an NFL player. The Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was suspended for six games by the league commissioner after being accused of sexual assault (by a 20-year-old college student) is the newest person of interest in Em’s war of words.
