Fruit Bats Schedule West Coast Tour

Seattle based band Fruit Bats will have scheduled a west coast tour in January and February 2009. Fruit Bats is fronted by The Shins touring sideman Eric Johnson. The tour will kick off in Eugene, OR on January 27 and wrap up in his hometown, Seattle on February 7.
Fruit Bats last album was 2005′s Spelled in Bones. The band has been dormant since Johnson joined The Shins. It seems with the new Shins album taking a while to come to fruition, Johnson has time to return to the Fruit Bats project.
