George Harrison‘s older sister, Louise Harrison, has decided at the ripe old age of 80 that she would like to clear up some of the rumors about The Beatles by releasing a tell-all memoir. The book is slated to be released in either 2012 or 2013, and will include previously unpublished photographs of George and letters he wrote to Louise. It’s only fitting: she manages a Beatles tribute production called Liverpool Legends in her hometown of Branson, Missouri.

George Harrison’s legendary solo debut, All Things Must Pass, is on deck to be remastered and reissued as a limited edition three-LP vinyl collection on November 26th.
Newly remastered at Abbey Road Studios from the original analogue master tapes, the deluxe vinyl reissue commemorates the album’s 40th anniversary and will be available exclusively at stores taking part in Record Store Day.
The album will also be available for download via George Harrison’s official site.

Because no one has ever, ever misinterpreted the lyrics of the Beatles or their message, MVD Visual has announced the release of a DVD entitled PAUL McCARTNEY REALLY IS DEAD, The Last Testament of George Harrison, which continues and builds upon the hoax that Paul McCartney was killed in a 1966 car accident and replaced by a double, based on supposed clues in the Fab Four’s lyrics. Plus, the disc is being co-released by a distribution company known as Wienerworld, so you know it’s gotta be true.

George Harrison’s son, Dhani Harrison, believes that starting a standalone website for digitally distributing The Beatles’ music is a practical option. Selling the Beatles back catalogue through iTunes isn’t satisfactory, and an online store could be revealed in the future. Harrison explains:
“We’re losing money every day. So what do you do? You have to have your own delivery system, or you have to do a good deal with Steve Jobs. But he says that a download is worth 99 cents, and we disagree.”
