New iPad App Gives Users an Immersive Musical Experience
Thursday, February 3, 2011 9:52AM - By Joseph Oliveto
Since its inception, few of us have questioned iTunes’ dominance in the digital music arena. Aside from offering the largest selection of songs and artists available for download, features such as user created playlists and mixes–basically hipper, more democratized versions of those ”if you liked this, you might also like” recommendations–have allowed users to expand their musical horizons.
However, with gadgets like the iPad becoming more and more prevalent in society, some music fans have expressed a lack of satisfaction with iTunes and have sought new programs and applications to immerse themselves more fully in the musical experience. One such app making a name for itself is Aweditorium.

Friday, October 8, 2010 4:06PM - By Seraphina L.
Gorillaz are currently over on the east coast playing a couple of massive shows this weekend but last night they had offered a pretty spectacular opportunity for those who attended Late Show with Letterman. After their late night TV appearance, the band actually stayed at the Ed Sullivan Theater to put on a 45-minute show.
That audience couldn’t have picked a better episode to be at for a live taping. Not only is the entire performance available to watch via CBS but De La Soul came out during this set of theirs! De La Soul and Gorillaz live when you only paid to see one Letterman episode live? That’s a bonus, If I say so myself. However, those of us who weren’t even there are the lucky ones. The show is available in the video below. Thank God for technology. Stream away!
