If you happened to miss the 2013 Grammys last night, well, you didn’t exactly miss much. Aside from a Best New Artist that’s been around for 12 years (Fun.), an inexplicable Album of the Year, even for the Grammys (Mumford & Sons), and overall a series of incredibly boring live performances, it wasn’t exactly one for the books.
CBS is worried about The Grammys. The 55th Annual Awards show airs from Los Angeles on February 10 (this Sunday), and the network has issued an email telling performers to keep their clothes on. This means no boobs, butt cracks or other private parts. Check out the super awkward email below.

It’s awards season all around. Those in the movie industry have been announcing the best and greatest of 2012, and those in the music biz are gearing up to do the same. The Grammys will air next month, and it has been revealed that Taylor Swift, Rihanna and The Black Keys are among those who will perform during the telecast.

Along with a lot of other people (mostly all the sane people on planet Earth), comic actor Seth Rogen apparently does not care much for rapper Chris Brown and his famous, girlfriend-assaulting, green-room destroying, tantrum-throwing temper. Nor does he seem to look highly upon the Grammys for continuing to celebrate and award Brown, despite his odious behavior. And Rogen let them both have it through a series of raunchy jokes while hosting the Independent Spirit Awards last weekend.
While many stars, singers, and celebrities are remembering Whitney Houston now that she has passed, perhaps the most touching tribute/ remembrance thus far was Jennifer Hudson’s stirring and reverent cover of “I Will Always Love You” at Sunday night’s Grammy telecast.
The 2012 Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles on Sunday night, held under the shadow of Whitney Houston’s Saturday passing, a fact that cast a pall over the normally exuberant and self-congratulatory event. But while the ceremony was a bit more muted than in previous years, there were no shortage of big wins or big performances, as soul singer Adele won all six awards she was nominated for, while the Foo Fighters nipped at her heels with five wins out of six nominations.
Big news for fans of Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band—the Boss and company have announced that they will be performing at this year’s 54th Annual Grammy Awards, which, by my calculations, makes this the first time in 54 years that the Grammys will actually be worth watching.
