Another music video directed by late actor Heath Ledger has hit the World Wide Web — this time featuring Ledger’s childhood friend, Australian rapper N’fa Foster-Jones. According to the Associated Press, the music video was directed right before Ledger’s death.
N’fa Foster-Jones posted the 3 minute, 31 second video for his song Cause An Effect on Thursday. The music video was first shown as part of a collection of Ledger’s work at the Rome Film Festival earlier this month and is now available on the internet.

A new music video that was directed by the late actor Heath Ledger for the Modest Mouse song “King Rat” will premier online today.
The animated video makes its debut on MySpace Music, which coincides with the release of a new Modest Mouse EP, No One’s First, And You’re Next.

Last week it was revealed that Heath Ledger directed a music video for the unreleased track “King Rat” by Modest Mouse and Grace Woodroofe’s, which is a cover of David Bowie’s “Quicksand.” Everyone jumped on the information so fast that they missed out on some of the details. It was thought that Terry Gilliam, the Director or Ledger’s upcoming film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus had animated the video, but it is now being discovered that, director and illustrator Daniel Auber animated the video, not Gilliam. Auber was a member of Ledger’s art collective The Massive and worked with Ledger on the video.

For late English singer/songwriter Nick Drake, the stars have aligned. At least, the music stars have.
Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson and late actor Heath Ledger have all been confirmed as contributors to a Drake tribute album. The album will be released later this year on Johnson’s Brushfire Records.
