Last weekend started early with the fantastic sounds of summer provided by Brooklynites, Beach Fossils and Here We Go Magic, at the famous Troubadour on a cool Thursday evening. However, with these two groups of indie rockers, the heat was eventually going to creep up on us and it quickly did as more and more people gathered into the venue to create more memories that accompany these hot summer nights.

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready. MGMT, move over. The psychedelic indie pop movement may have a new king.
His name is Luke Temple. And his Brooklyn-based band, Here We Go Magic, will release their self-titled debut album on Feb. 24. The project is the followup to Temple’s 2007 solo record, Snowbeast, which, like Here We Go Magic, was recorded with minimal equipment in the artist’s home.
