I’d like to think that I have an open mind when it comes to most all things – especially music – but I have to admit that upon first listen to iwrestledabearonce, I was scared to death, and sure of it. However, it must be said that it wasn’t the first time that I’d come to the wrong conclusion too quickly.

To put it simply, iwrestledabearonce’s sound is in fact noise to the Nth degree, but thankfully it is much more thank that. It it also clever in complexity and multiple layers. The more I listened, it became clear that even someone who isn’t your typical fan of the deathcore genre could figure out that there’s something going on with this album, aptly entitled It’s All Happening. It most certainly is all happening, at once, in front of your… ears.
