Slash, best known for his lead-guitar work in Guns N’ Roses, is putting out a new album which includes a ton of collaborations. He’s asked musicians such Flea, Dave Grohl, and Alice Cooper – all whom have said yes to teaming up.
However, Jack White, best known for his work in The White Stripes and now The Dead Weather, didn’t comply to Slash’s requests so easily.

The Dead Weather have been so kind as to release a new, live five-song EP, titled Live From Third Man West.
Released via iTunes, the live EP is named after Jack White’s recording studio in L.A. where the music was recorded; the EP features tracks from the group’s debut, Horehound. All told, the album includes four live videos and five songs, including a cover of the heavy metal band Pentagram’s “Forever My Queen.”

Much like “Duck, duck, goose,” it also goes the same way for speculations and confirmations: “Rumor, rumor, fact.” We Internet geeks just eat this stuff up, so we want to throw another one at you.

Regardless of how busy Jack White gets with the Dead Weather tour, a possible solo album and appearing with Jimmy Page and the Edge in the guitar documentary It Might Get Loud – there’s always time for Keith Richards!
Richards tells Rolling Stone that he and White have recently worked together: “I enjoy working with Jack. We’ve done a couple of tracks.” Asked by Rolling Stone if White might possibly man the controls as producer of the next Stones album, Richards replied, “I couldn’t fuel that rumor any more than to say Jack and I are in touch.”
So you’re saying there’s a chance?
