Well, folks, our long national nightmare is finally over. No, I’m not talking about such trivial, trifling matters as an economic collapse, military quagmires, or Justin Bieber knocking people up—I’m talking about the fallout from Janet Jackson exposing portions of her breast on national TV during the Super Bowl. June 2009 was a very sad day when the world lost one of its biggest pop music legends in music. After Micheal Jackson‘s death, the Jackson 5 has gotten together for reality show that delved into the after shock of losing their brother and the meaning of family. Battling Monday morning headlines with Kanye West, who is on a personal quest to win “Jerk of the Year”, Janet Jackson made quite an impression Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Not long after she put the finishing touches on a dance medley tribute to her late brother Michael Jackson, Janet posted a new single, “Make Me,” on her official website. The song is most likely from her upcoming album due in early 2010. Upbeat and catchy, the new tune features a chorus of “Don’t stop till you get it up,” a nice homage to her brother’s 1979 hit “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.”
Check below for Janet’s VMA performance.

Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael Jackson and a member of the Jackson 5, confirmed today that the 5 will reunite in 2009 for a tour — including pajama-clad brother Michael. Little sister Janet, you may have heard of her, is supposed to open the tour.
Jermaine told the Australian Associate Press at an press event today that “This has been a long time coming for the Jackson family to get back together. It is just the timing, so what we’ve been doing is working on the music and all the logistics. It is going to be more like a family affair, Janet’s going to open and, of course, the original Jackson 5 … Michael, Randy and the whole family … We’re in the studio, we’re planning on being out there next year.”

Janet Jackson was taken to the hospital and is now under the control of a doctor after she ”got suddenly ill during the sound check” for her concert in Montreal Monday. Jackson was rushed to a local hospital and is not being monitored.
There has been no other information released about what “sickness” she is suffering from.
She hopes to reschedule the show as soon as she gets better.
Last Friday, Jackson canceled the weekend Detroit stop of her Rock Witchu road show due to “production constraints.”
