Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson, and Gym Class Heroes aren’t the only ones releasing new albums this week. We’ve rounded up new releases from Brandon Schott, Alexandra Stan, She & Him, Jedi Mind Tricks, and Justice. Some we love; some, not so much. Clarkson’s album should meet positive reviews–the former Idol has been a part of the mainstream for a decade, and she never fails to give us a solid performance. But if the self-proclaimed “schizophrenia” of Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto isn’t all the hype you thought it would be or you’re already bored with your copy of Gym Class Heroes’ The Papercut Chronicles II, then maybe one of the albums in our roundup will catch your eye…

After Justice was hired to remix U2′s Get On Your Boots, Lenny Kravitz has done exactly the same thing with the track Let Love Rule from his upcoming album of the same name.

Indie label Mad Decent, created by Philadelphia-based DJ and producer Diplo, has made a partnership deal with another indie, Downtown Records.
Home to artists such as Bonde do Role, Brick Bandits, and DJ Blaqstarr, Mad Decent will join acts like Gnarls Barkley, Justice, Eagles of Death Metal and Santigold at Downtown, which already partners with A-Trak and Kid Sister’s Fool’s Gold Records. Dance music seems to be congregating under the same banner.

For some, Halloween is a time for families and friends to carve pumpkins, be merry, and trick or treat. For everyone else, Halloween is a bigger deal. The parties are outrageous, the people are rambunctious, and good times are looking to be had.
HARD Haunted Mansion was no different.
EVERYONE was looking to have a good time. The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles was the hot spot, where the event was held. There was traffic all over – on the streets, and in line. On top of the $52 ticket that many had to pay for the event itself, parking was $20, but many paid without hesitation. Continue Reading
