Katy Perry’s fourth single from Teenage Dream, “E.T.,” recently took the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, and as of today, March 31, it’s got an appropriately sci-fi themed music video to boost its popularity even further. Sure, the space romance theme may be lifted directly from Lady Gaga, but it’s not like Katy Perry was the most original star in the first place.

Say what you want about Kanye West–he certainly says what he wants about himself–but the man knows how to record a popular rap album, and unlike so many other major stars who struggle under the so-called burden of being labeled an “artist,” he’s extremely prolific, constantly at work on a solo project or collaboration.
That’s a quality which shows no sign of waning in West; it’s only been a couple months since his massively successful release My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy hit shelves, and he says he’s already working on another album for a summer release.
