Citizens of Nashville, Tennessee are still suffering from a massive flood which occurred last weekend. As a major music city, there are also currently many musicians who are currently suffering from the damage the water has done to their instruments and and gear. It’s surprising to finally hear the media talking about this natural disaster since the nation has done everything we could for Haiti’s earthquake. However, people are finally giving what they can to those in need.

Who ever thought Lisa Simpson would wake up feeling like P. Diddy? I sure didn’t.
Last night’s episode of The Simpsons had a very surprising intro when the characters of Springfield took their part in acting out the parts to the 1:15 minutes of Ke$ha’s hit song, “TiK ToK.” Although the show’s loyal fans may have gotten used to odd and random openings, many were surprised to hear the singer’s voice booming out their TV speakers only to see Homer and Moe chugging beers and mouthing the words to the sorority anthem.

The lowest common denominator slinked a lot lower last night on Fox’s American Idol, featuring two of the dumbest names in pop music (no, I mean literally, their names are, you know, stupid): pop starlet Kei$ha was joined onstage by electronic act 3OH!3 for a performance of the aptly titled, heavily auto-tuned hit “Blah Blah Blah.”

Sigh… Although there are plenty of music artists out there reinventing the wheel with their talent we can’t really say Ke$ha supports this theory. With a sorority anthem for the hit, “TiK ToK,” she became one of the record breaking artists in regards to digital sales and also managed to stay on top of the charts for numerous and consecutive weeks. However, there isn’t much (if any) substance in her music.
