Oh Mondays, how I loathe thee. Back to work, back to the daily grind. Back to the drama, back to the meetings, back to yelling and screaming. Lucky for me, I had some dance-tastic plans after the long day of phone calls and reports. Yes, I was to attend the delightful Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA where Ladytron and The Faint would perform with an intense regime of hardcore beats and a slew of dancing feet.

One of my all time favorite concert experiences was from a few years ago was when Ladytron opened for The Faint at the Hollywood Palladium in 2006. Also on the bill was Ratatat (who are now able to headline their own show at the Palladium – 4/4) and the now defunct Blood Brothers (RIP). After I lost most of my breath from dancing, I nicely requested that my date and I rest for a moment to gain some energy back. Soon after, we were both back on the dance-floor having a blast.
Needless to say, I’m somewhat excited to hear that Ladytron and The Faint are heading out on the road together again. Although this time around they’ll be switching off as the main act.
April 1st marks the first date from the tour that kicks off in Milwaukee and comes to a close in Denver. Beatcrave was lucky enough to grab a few extra tickets to their two-night stay at the Henry Fonda Theater (4/26 & 4/27) and wants to reward one of our loyal readers with a chance to get into one of the shows for free.

Consider this a friendly reminder; in just a mere 3 days, the electrified lads in London’s Pendulum will hit US soil. What does this mean for us average Joe’s and Jane’s? Well, you need to find your dance shoes and practice throwing your fists in the air as soon as possible. With a mix of arrangements that would be familiar to fans of The Faint, Crystal Castles and VNV Nation, Pendulum plan to bring an arsenal of instruments, lights, and stage presence mid-sized venues across the US. BeatCrave will be attending their show at Club Nokia on March 14th, and recommends you clear your schedule to do whatever it takes to attend the show with us.
