David Letterman’s show will feature its first ever artist residency during the week of March 2. U2 will be on the show for all five nights that week, which just happens to coincide with the release of their newest album, No Line on the Horizon on March 3. What a wonderful occasion for everyone who wants to hear Bono talk even more than he normally does. At least there’s a chance with Letterman that he’ll spend much of the time making fun of Bono and what he says because the show is meant to be entertainment, not a soap box.

Conor Oberst, of Bright Eyes fame, performed a new song Tuesday night during his appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brian. Oberst has performed the song “Nicorette” a few times at shows, but never anything quite as public (and as large) as Conan O’Brian .

Oberst released his 12 track solo album “Conor Oberst” back in July of this year and is currently on tour with dates scheduled around the US.
