You’ve got to admit—Jimmy Kimmel is a late night talk show host who can think on his feet, as evidenced by his quick thinking on Thursday night, when rapper Lil Wayne was a no-show for his scheduled appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel’s reaction—grab a random audience member, slap a wig on him, and have the audience member pretend to be Lil Wayne for a full length video. Check out the video below.

Lil Wayne (a.k.a. Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.) went and had an accident over the weekend—which usually happens when a guy approaching 30 starts skateboarding like a 15 year old, as it turns out that the rapper was injured at a skateboard park on Sunday night.

Is Lil Wayne really still in jail? Because with all the activity that’s been going on in regards to his music career, the need for a “Free Weezy” campaign could just be a big joke on us.

He’s still chatting with fans and working hard to still have a presence in the industry no matter where he may be sleeping. The most recent news about Weezy in jail? The rapper is about to drop a new EP titled I Am Not a Human Being. (Perhaps this is what he was listening to when he got busted for headphones in the cell.)
