Following the release of “Youth Novels” this past June, Swedish-born indie singer Lykke Li has released a new music video for “I’m Good, I’m Gone”, which is is currently available for free via iTunes or you can watch below the jump. If you haven’t had the chance to download it, you’re missing out. Its visuals are very silent film era-esque, disturbing in allowing the human body to move somewhat lifeless and independent of itself, if not in the footsteps of Stanley Kubrick and those unfortunate young girls from The Shining. The musical quality – unique and uncomplicated, with hand-clapping and a sound akin to Bjork – might be an acquired taste for some, but overall proves funky enough to give one’s head reason to gently sway against the limits of their neck.
