Today in “wait—he’s still, like, doing things?” news, a press release heralded the news that Marilyn Manson, that guy who used to do the stuff with the yelling and the scaring parents and the whatnot, has drafted Erin Broadley, a former editor for L.A. Weekly, to write his first authorized biography—and only ten years or so after it would semi-relevant!
It’s happened — the shock rocker Marilyn Manson has the Swine Flu. Rolling Stone reported that Manson decided to publicly-post his diagnosis on his Facebook page, while also taking a stab at some of his ex-girlfriends. We knew he wasn’t invincible.

After the hilarious stunt pulled by this bipolar duo at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, Eminem is getting the answer to the question he asked while performing onstage, “Did you miss me?”
What do Marilyn Manson and Mandy Moore have in common? Aside from eye-liner, they share the same release date for their new albums. For this weeks CD releases we don’t have very many albums, but at least we have a diverse group of musicians to choose from. There is the before-mentioned, Marilyn Manson and Ms. Moore, along with new albums from Grizzly Bear, French alternative rock band Phoenix, and boy-band pop group Varsity Fanclub.

Through a March 23 press release, Manson announced he would be distributing through the single today. However, the singer (or his web guy) must be sleeping in, because the song isn’t up yet.
