Michael Jackson Scarecrows Pop Up In Taiwan Michael Jackson Scarecrows Pop Up In Taiwan

We’ve been talking about Kanye West quite a bit lately, but now it’s time to switch over to the other artist who rivaled his combination of craziness and musical genius. Of course, we’re talking about the late Michael Jackson. It’s been over a year since his death yet he is still making the headlines and he always will. People’s obsession over the King of Pop will never cease and we have just the case to prove it again.

Michael Jackson Recorded New Material Will Sony Release It Charges Will Not Be Filed Against Seven Of Michael Jacksons Doctors

Proving that if you’re going to slowly murder a drug addicted patient by fueling said addiction with questionable prescriptions, you had better be the physician to a freakishly out-of-touch former pop god, alleged pedophile and disturbingly tragic ka-blillionaire, as Billboard reported yesterday that California “state investigators probing the death of Michael Jackson have decided not to file charges against seven doctors who treated him,” despite what appears to be a very blatant abuse of medication on Jackson’s part before his cash cow swan dive for the record label and family membe… er, I mean death last summer.

Michael Jackson Sued For Dancing To R. Kellys Ignition Michael Jacksons Grave To Be Open To The Public On One Year Anniversary Of His Death

Because the reaction to his death hasn’t been nearly borderline-ghoulish enough to rob whatever tiny filaments of dignity he may have had left, Michael Jackson’s grave will be open to the public on the one-year anniversary of his death.  Oh, and that odd rattling noise you’re hearing now is Joe Jackson, somewhere in the distance, chanting “Ch-ching! Ch-ching! Ch-ching!

Michael Jackson Sued For Dancing To R. Kellys Ignition Joe Jackson Announces Michael Jackson Museum, Strokes Moustache Malevolently

Michael Jackson’s death has given the world a lot over the past year – a planned Cirque du Soleil tribute show in Las Vegas, a much-needed spike in music sales, a misty-eyed revisionism that allows a lot of us to forget the last 15 years of MJ’s life – and it shows no signs of stopping.  The Onion A.V. Club reports today that the just-plain-insanely-evil Joe Jackson has announced that he plans to launch a massive Michael Jackson museum in MJ’s hometown of Gary, Indiana:

Michael Jackson Recorded New Material Will Sony Release It Michael Jackson Recorded New Material; Will Sony Release It?

Sony recently made a deal with Michael Jackson‘s estate to put out never-released material since his contract with the label still extends into 2017. However, there has been some recent findings according to the NY Daily News, that Jackson has actually recorded entirely new material back in 2007 that no one has heard nor has ever been released to the public. We wonder if this changes the deal between Sony and the late pop singer’s estate.

music spending1 Global Music Sales Dropped Another 7% In 2009

Reuters reports that global music sales are continuing their steady decline, with worldwide sales dropping an additional 7% in 2009 (the numbers dropped 8% in 2008) to a total of $17 billion.  The world’s two largest music markets, the United States and Japan, marked the largest drop in sales, while digital downloads continued to cautiously grow despite wildly rampant illegal downloading.

And the cherry on the cake for yet another miserable year for the music industry?  The bestselling record was Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream, followed by discs by the Black Eyed Peas, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.  My goodness—how could the industry possibly be in decline when its top-tier names are such artistic visionaries as a band with Fergie in it?

Michael Jackson Sued For Dancing To R. Kellys Ignition Cirque du Soleil To Launch Michael Jackson Show in 2011

Billboard reports today that Michael Jackson has been dead just long enough to get his very own Cirque du Soleil tribute show in Las Vegas, which sounds like it will shape up to be a very classy and subdued tribute, as all things in Vegas tend to be.  Except for that time that… well, let’s just say the cops are getting harder and harder to spot there each and every year.
