The sounds of the cello and Kasher’s acoustic resonated off the walls and deep into the eardrums of the crowd on the floor and those up in the cheap seats. Even though most were motionless, as is typical for a Los Angeles crowd, Kasher had all the energy he needed as he twisted and grasped for the microphone.

Minus The Bear CP 8 8 2010c Lollapalooza 2010: Minus the Bear

While many had been drinking throughout the day, there was one band that wanted to get a bottle and drink alone tonight. Even though it was only a few minutes past three, Seattle’s Minus the Bear busted out in a big way on the ADIDAS Mega stage on a blistering Sunday afternoon at Lollapalooza.

gliu4 INTERVIEW: Stacy* Clark is all about Apples & Oranges

I caught Stacy* Clark’s set at The Knitting Factory last week and was so blown away by her performance that I demanded an interview. Clark, a guitar playing singer songwriter, and her band performed a powerful set of guitar-heavy songs and heartfelt melodies from her album, Apples & Oranges. Clark is the Winner of the 2007 Orange County Music Awards for ‘Best Female Performer’ and ‘Best Female Artist’ 2006 Southern California Music Awards. Her music has appeared on the MTV and CBS television networks, and she has appeared on stage with Jacks Mannequin, and the Amsterdams. Thankfully, she took time out to answer a few questions.
