There might be just one or two more ‘i’s’ to dot and ‘t’s’ to cross, but if there is a god in heaven then the Stevie Wonder deal to headline the final night at Glastonbury will be (wait for it….) signed, sealed and delivered any minute now.

Wonder would join U2 and Muse as headliners at the festival, which takes place on Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 23rd to the 27th.

We previously reported that the trio Muse was set to compose the score for the upcoming Louis Leterrier film, Clash of the Titans. The announcement was a bit premature, and the story has been debunked by the director himself. According to a recent interview in Spinner, he set the record straight on how the rumor began, and what’s actually going on with the project.

There’s no doubt that Muse is just one of those bands with staying power. Not only have they been around since I was a teen, rocking out to their large sound with so few members, but apparently they also have staying power on the charts. Their current single “Uprising” has remained at No. 1 for 18 consecutive weeks on Mediabase’s Alternative Rock chart — breaking a record for the longest run at No. 1 in the history of the chart, previously held by Foo Fighters.

Adam Lambert Collaborates With Muse and The Darkness Adam Lambert Collaborates With Muse and The Darkness

Yesterday we unveiled the covert art for Adam Lambert‘s debut album, For Your Entertainment. It was appropriately glamorous, edgy (Lambert style), and striking – three things we’re sure the American Idol runner-up had requested as necessities.

Well, now we’ve got a little more info on the actual album, itself.

Thanks to the world of Twitter, Lambert recently shared a few details about a few tracks. Apparently, his people have been able to grab Muse and The Darkness for the boy!

Watch Muse Refusing Not To Lip Sync

Watch Muse Refusing Not To Lip Sync

Well, kind of. When Muse was forced to play to a track on an Italian talk show, they refused and rebelled in their own way. The band performed their new single, “Uprising,” as asked but instead of lip syncing to their own song the usual way, they pulled a big one over the talk show host and audience.

Lead vocalist and guitarist, Matthew Bellamy, faked the drums while their actual drummer, Dominic Howard, lip synced the song (perfectly, too!) Their bassist, Christopher Wolstenhome, took on the guitar and keys. So all in all, there was not one band member playing the correct instrument.

Death Cab For Cutie Does First Single For New Moon Soundtrack New Moon Soundtracks Complete Track Listing Announced!

The New Moon soundtrack has been announced, and it couldn’t be any more different from the first one! We knew it was going to have an indie sound, but this is just ridiculous! Ridiculous in a good way, anyway.

We had known about Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, Band of Skulls, and Death Cab For Cutie but who knew the Bon Iver track was going to be a duet with St. Vincent! Others that were recently suspected and now confirmed are The Killers, Grizzly Bear, and Stephanie Meyer’s muse, Muse.

Although one part of us is surprised that indie darlings, Anya Marina and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, are also in the mix, another part says this makes sense. A few of these artists are somehow associated with Alexandra Patsavas’ label, Chop Shop, or her close friends, Nettwerk Music Group. Check out the full track list below and tell us what you think!
