But the latest piece of visual media coming from the ultra-talented Radiohead frontman is quite different. Thom Yorke is on the cover of next month’s issue of Dazed & Confused, and to launch it he created an exclusive mix that includes, listen to this, unreleased Radiohead and Atoms For Peace material. Yorke went into the studio with Nigel Godrich and came out with 25 minutes of golden mixes.

This week, Thom Yorke‘s side project Atoms For Peace released a new and complicated single titled “Default.” The band also announced the tentative release date for their debut album. Also, the MTV VMAs took place last night and racy pop star Rihanna came out the big winner. Elsewhere, The Black Keys have announced that they’re back in the studio, prepping for an eight album. We might not have to wait much longer for a follow-up to El Camino. All that and more below.

Good news for fans of all things Radiohead: in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke announced that two albums are coming down the pipe—a new disc from Yorke’s side project, Atoms for Peace, as well as a new Radiohead album, despite the fact that the band just released The King Limbs earlier this year.

Radiohead is pretty much always in the news and whether you’re a fan or not, most see the headline and are at least intrigued enough to read what’s going on with them. Frontman, Thom Yorke, has been part of our headlines quite a bit within the last few months ever since he started a solo band with Flea and debuted a few new songs under the moniker, Atoms For Peace.
We also know that Radiohead is also working on a new album since they were working on it before they decided to do an impromptu Haiti relief concert in Los Angeles. Well, it looks like other members and colleagues of the band are doing their own thing as well. More info after the jump!
