It’s the season of music festivals! Either you love them or hate them. It also seems to the season of “F” festivals. Fun Fun Fun Fest announces its lineup AND tickets have already gone on sale today including the Early Bird offers!
Austin’s annual festival in Waterloo Park will be continuing for its fourth year and the lineup looks incredible. Although Fun Fun Fun Fest is known for its diverse celebration of artists ranging from indie rock to punk/hardcore to hip-hop to DJs, this year’s lineup includes just about everyone who has had a popularity rise within the last year.
The festival takes place November 7th – 8th and headliners include Ratatat, of Montreal, Crystal Castles, Jesus Lizard, and more!
Check out the entire lineup below with all 91 artists! Yeah, 91!

Day three (June 13) of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival might better be known as the day of The Boss.
Although Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band started about 20 minutes late (sparking murmurs of another Kanye West fiasco), The Boss and the boys dominated the main stage for nearly three hours with hits like “Working On a Dream,” “Youngstown” and “Thunder Road,” emitting enough rock n’ roll clamor for the entire 80,000-person campground to hear.

The Killers are back with a new video off of their album, Day and Age. For their second single, the band has tapped Ray Tintori, the director who gave us MGMT‘s “Electric Feel.” While that video was eccentric, “Spaceman,” just comes off a little too odd. With a larger budget for this project, the money seemed to all go towards costumes and the result was a video looking a little too Of Montreal-esque. Front man, Brandon Flowers, enters wearing a red body suit topped with huge shoulder pads and feathers. He then proceeds to walk up a skull tower that is holding some sort of feast. Don’t follow? Yeah, we’re confused too.
Check it out yourself after the jump, then tell us what you think!

Of Montreal‘s Kevin Barnes and MGMT‘s Andrew VanWyngarden have teamed up together on a project. This project will go by the name of Blikk Fang. Blikk Fang have already posted a few songs on PureVolume here, and plan to release something with a few more in 2009.
With all that eccentricity, we’re guessing this project should be interesting.

Maroon 5 enlisted the help of their friends to created their newest album: Call and Response: The Remix Album. The album features bands such as of Montreal, Deefhoof, and Cut Copy doing their own remixes of some of Maroon 5′s greatest tracks.
Curious to hear what it all sounds like? Some of the tracks are available to be streamed right now directly off Maroon 5′s MySpace page. The full album which also features remixes by producers like Bloodshy & Avant, Pharrell, Swizz Beats, and Just Blaze is available now on iTunes and Amazon.
