Shortly after Michael Jackson’s death was reported, video jockey Peanut Butter Wolf did a set of video remixes of the pop singer’s most memorable videos live at the Echoplex in Los Angeles.
Wolf spliced the clips together artfully, and shows some of Michael Jackson’s best dance moves over the years. The second and third parts of the tribute have some creative remixes of MJ’s funkier beats, so check out all 30 minutes of PB Wolf’s live VJ set after the jump:

As BeatCrave gears up for Coachella this weekend, today’s BeatCrave Fav focuses on one of Coachella’s highly anticipated acts: Peanut Butter Wolf. Although this DJ has been around for quite a while (since 1989!), his hits have almost always been underground. For some time of his career, he was signed to Hollywood Basic, a record label owned by Disney, but left because he didn’t have enough room for artistic freedom.
Peanut Butter Wolf, also known as Chris Manak, focuses mainly on hip hop and funk, and when he’s not DJing, he doubles as a hip hop producer. PB Wolf is unique in that he syncs music with videos – a feat most DJs can’t do. While the “iPod DJ” – someone who mixes parts of their set before a show – is very popular in today’s times, PB Wolf uses various programs, and at times, even goes back to the vinyl.
If you’re in the area, check Peanut Butter Wolf out this Friday at 8:30 on the Gobi stage at Coachella! Continue Reading
