If you haven’t snagged your ticket for San Francisco’s 17th Annual Noise Pop Festival Feb. 24 – March 1, do so before January 12th, or you are going to regret it. If you wait too much longer, you’ll miss the early bird price of $150 which is a fantastic deal. You know that you’ll end up going, your inevitable growing desire to attend possibly one of the greatest (legal) music and arts festivals of recent times will win over. So get a good deal while you still can!

Joining Ra Ra Riot, Tussle, and Lemonade September 25th, at The Echo was Walter Meego, the electronic duo from Chicago, whose electronic pop sound has been likened to Air and Daftpunk. Justin Sconza and Colin Yarck draw eclectic inspiration from the sounds of Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles to Prince and Madonna. Since relocating to Los Angeles earlier this year, life has been hectic with pool parties and touring. Throughout September and October there’s a non-stop tour of the US and Canada before headlining a citywide tour of Australia. There’s also the anticipated release of their full length album, “Voyager,” after much exposure of their music on “Ugly Betty” and “The Middleman.” Singles like “Forever” and “Girls” ooze down-right dirty addictive lyrics and synthy bubble gum pop that could force a suicide to skip and sing.
