Just because you have an iPhone and live in Australia doesn’t mean you’re safe from ’80s pop star Rick Astley.
According to the BBC, iPhone owners in Australia got quite a surprise this week when they found their phones displaying a wallpaper of Astley’s photograph with a message: “Ikee is never going to give you up.”
No one expected two iconic legends to die on the same day, for that matter no one really expects the death of anyone. But last Thursday’s unfortunate events gave spark to what would become a rampage of crazy death hoaxes. Rumors rose from everywhere, all killing off notable artists’ one crazy rumor at a time, but like most things in Hollywood, the truth was revealed and many of those said to be dead are still with us. The most recent death hoax was Rick Astley, and rest assure that the pop singer-songwriter is still alive and well.
