In spite of the fact that he has a history which indicates nothing but rational, clear-headed thinking (minus, you know, that time his then girlfriend Rihanna looked at his phone and proceeded to viciously and repeatedly punch her in the face, bit her neck and ear, and then slam her face repeatedly against a car door; or that one time when a journalist asked him about the above incident and he destroyed a green room in hissy fit), Chris Brown went ballistic on Twitter last night when someone mentioned Rihanna, and then he attempted to delete his Twitter feed so no one could read his digital tantrum. Unfortunately, multiple websites saved the rant, in which Brown seems to indicate that it is people being mean to him that forces him to “spaz out” and beat his girlfriends.

Swedish Rihanna fans will just have to make due without their musical hero for awhile, as the recently ailing pop star has had to cancel to two live gigs in the country this week, claiming that she is suffering from “exhaustion.”

Rihanna is being forced to defend her latest music video, “Man Down,” as it opens with a man being shot in the head, something that people with a lot of free time on their hands (aka, Parents Television Council) are decrying as “disturbing” and demanding that BET stop airing the clip.

First, R&B pop rincess Rihanna goes ahead and collaborates with fruit obsessed prima donna Katy Perry. Now she’s lamenting over the fact that she really wanted to sing with punk wannabe, Avril Lavigne. We’re not completely against Rihanna. She’s definitely learned to grow as an artist and has come a long way from her days of “Pon de Replay” first hitting the radio waves. Just behind Beyonce, Rihanna has done a pretty great job at keeping her career afloat despite the chaos she’s had to endure with her ex-boyfriend.

Whether or not you watched Rihanna‘s music video “What’s My Name?” featuring Drake, this weekend, let me give you the heads up – it’s unreal… in a bad way. The video, like the song, did nothing for me, except leave an echoing pop-ish line in my head – what’s my name… what’s my name… Rihanna’s album Loud also came out this weekend. The CD features 11-tracks, and is Rihanna’s fifth studio album (she’s only 22-years-old). Watch the video of “What’s My Name?” and read reviews for Loud below…

Another year has gone by and and another batch of unnecessary awards shows have also occurred to capitalize on the teen market who ave no clue the “M” in MTV used to stand for Music Television. Honing in on reality shows such as the filthy Jersey Shore and getting the best B-list celebrity talk show host to talk smack about A-list celebrities (via Chelsea Handler) basically sums up our vapid generation’s interest last night.
But hey, we know some of you were tuned in for the music. That is, whatever is left to be considered music. We’ve got every single VMA performance for you after the jump – but first – let’s take a moment of silence to bow our heads in shame in regards to Justin Bieber winning Best New Artist…

Wow…wow! Seriously wow. This is what happens when a tornado meets a volcano — you get Megan Fox, an abusive relationship and fire. MTV debuted Eminem‘s “Love The Way You Lie,” last night and yes, it’s one of the best fucking music video, ever.
Rapper Eminem and pop singer Rihanna didn’t only get together to make a beautiful song, they went the extra mile (har, har) and made an amazing music video about an abusive relationship. You don’t need to be a Hollywood-gossip news junkie to know that both of these entertainers have dealt with abusive relationships, so when you see a music video like the one you’re about to see, there’s a very personal feeling involved and you can see that play throughout.

Conduit Labs, known for its Facebook game Music Pets, has recently struck a deal with Universal Music Group and plenty of other indie rock labels such as Domino, Beggars Group, DFA, Downtown Records and Modular. However, Universal Music Group is licensing the game company the largest amount of music for all their games.

Rihanna has just premiered a brand new video for her track, “Rude Boy,” off of her latest album, Rated R. Although the album at first presented a dark and moody tone just as her leading video for “Russian Roulette” did, this single takes us back into the colorful and tropical realm in which Rihanna seems to feel more at home. She is from Barbados after all.
Although, some may at first liken it to M.I.A.‘s videos, “Galang” and “Boyz” because of the colors and even right down to the lip curl, we feel that Rihanna gives it her own touch with those hip twerks and that sexy attitude. Besides, M.I.A. didn’t copyright the style but only personified it. Directed by Melina Matsoukas who did her previous video, “Hard,” Rihanna goes back to her roots with Jamaican dance-hall costumes. Take a look below, then vote to let us know what you’ve decided!
