Last night was the big night for the music industry. The 52nd Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles’ Staples Center and everyone from Justin Beiber to Jeff Beck showed up for the special event. Also, like usual, they managed to cram in 16 performances into a three hour show.

Although, we have to admit, with the exception of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, The 3-D Michael Jackson tribute, and Mary J. Blige/Andrea Bocelli duet, the show didn’t live up to the hype last night. Whether you tuned in or missed out last night, we’ve got all the performances for you to watch below!

There’s going to be a definite ‘Motown’ vibe next year at the 2010 South By Southwest (SXSW) festival. Organizers have announced that none other than the legendary Smokey Robinson will deliver the keynote address at the music conference.

Robinson’s keynote will kick off the 24th edition of the SXSW activities at the Austin Convention Center on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

Willie Nelson AND Smokey Robinson? ArcticMonkeys AND David Guetta? Is there anyone NOT releasing an album this week? French house DJ, Guetta, recently had a No 1 single with the Kelly Rowland collaboration “When Love Takes Over,” and had another one with “I Gotta Feeling”, co-written with the Black Eyed Peas. The later can be heard on top 40 radio stations about a hundred times a day. Judging from the first two singles off the album, the House DJ’s new album is definitely worth your attention.  Pop sensation Colbie Caillet is trying to prove to the world that she is not a one hit (“Bubly”) wonder with her new album while Jewish musician from New York City, Matisyahu, is singing reggae songs about his religious devotion.
