A solid five-some on deck this week of music for the Coming Soon file; a nice mix old-school heavyweights and exciting new artists.

Everyone’s favorite Thin White Duke, David Bowie returns with a re-release of a special-edition EP of the spooky, rock classic “Space Oddity” on July 20, the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s stroll on the moon. This time with a DIY spin.

Four versions of the song (three edits and a 1979 rerecording) will be released as The Space Oddity Digital EP, according to Bowie’s website. Buyers will get eight tracks featuring various instruments for free, which can be rearranged and remixed by fans.

The Bronx and TV on the Radio announce American tours, and the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona comfirms over 80 bands of the highest quality. Check out the next live performances:

• If you’re in Europe in May, you should see the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona. The full list of confirmed bands includes: Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, The Bad Plus, The Bug, Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, Bloc Party, A Certain Ratio, The Jesus Lizard, The Mae Shi and well, pretty much every great band there is! Seriously, the list goes on and on, and the festival looks like it’s going to be awesome. Check it out, and feel your jaw go slack. [TMT]
• Following the success of last year’s album Dear Science, TV on the Radio will be touring the US and Canada beginning in May, between their Coachella and performance in April and Bonnaroo show in June. They will pass through Oakland and Vancouver before ending up in New York and Washington D.C., so check out the dates, and be sure to not miss the opportunity! [TMT]

OK. We got one room, a punching bag, and some wrestling masks, let’s make a video! That is exactly what The Bronx have done for their new music video is… and it’s a whole lot of fun. Imagine letting the Jackass crew loose in a room and then adding some cool effects.
