Lots of good picks this week. The man known best for making good bedroom music, Mr. Ginuwine himself has an album coming out this week called A Man’s Thoughts. If you are a Ginuwine, a 90′s R&B fan, or just looking to get some girl into bed, you will love this album. You can go in a different direction with anticipated records coming out this week from progressive rock groups The Dear Hunter and Grammy award winning The Mars Volta. Also, this week we have Music For Men by the group Gossip. As the main act on the record label Music With A Twist, they are making the GLBT community proud. With so many albums coming out this week you are sure to find one that suits you.

Comprised of Casey Crescenzo, Erick Serna, Nate Patterson, Andy Wildrick and Nick Crescenzo, The Dear Hunter are an east coast act whose ”Act” albums are grandiose, epic tales of love, prostitution, escapism and death: themes that are not often easily expressed within the context of a 40 minute set opening for MeWithoutYou.
During their performance at the Glass House in Pomona, CA last night, The Dear Hunter exploded beyond the constraints of theme and delivered a live rock performance that proved to any naysayer or critic of the band that The Dear Hunter is far more than a studio band; they are also a group of six amazing musicians that put on a memorable show worth talking about.

Alternative rock band The Dear Hunter is set to release the 3rd chapter, Act III: Life and Death, of their six part rock opera on June 23rd on Triple Crown Records. The album is a follow-up to the bands 2007 disc titled, Act II: The Meaning of, and All Things Regarding Ms. Leading. The album was produced by lead man and creator Casey Crescenzo, and was recorded by the band in their studio in Providence, Rhode Island. It is set in WWII and follows a fictional central character as he makes the transition from innocence to impurity. The album features guest musicians playing everything from strings and horns to harps and woodwinds.
