 POLL: Big Names, Big Sales?

There are the big household names that will always rake in the sales just because of the teeny bopper generation, e.g. Britney Spears, Fall Out Boy. Sadly, artists who are only excellent performers but not the best musicians seem to sell out the stadiums.

Then there are those acts that we’re okay with hitting the mainstream mark. Some of the bigger names, who have put decent music out in the past, are releasing new work this week. Out of the following five artists, who do you think will sell the most copies? Vote below and see what others think!

MySpace has snagged streams of two hot new albums due out next week. The albums are Electric Arguments from The Fireman (which is Paul McCartney and Youth) and the infamous Chinese Democracy from Guns N’ Roses.

Electric Arguments is due out on November 25 via ATO Records and can be streamed here. Don’t let the name The Fireman fool you. This project is very much a Paul McCartney record that just happens to include some lush, electronic sounds and some sonic influence from Youth.

Chinese Democracy is due out on November 23 exclusively at Best Buy stores and can be streamed here. If you can listen to it without wincing, you are a very strong or very tolerant human being. Seriously, it’s a difficult listen.
