As the 2010 wraps up, all the blogs are posting their end of the year lists. We’ll also be presenting a ton of lists including Top Albums of 2010, Top Videos of 2010, Top Concerts of 2010 and plenty more! However–we are kicking off the best of the best with some of the artists YOU – the reader – have chosen as some of our favorite BeatCrave Favs. We not only began highlighting some of the best up-and-coming, talented indie acts in February but we also gave you a chance to crown some artists with a BeatCrave Fav of the Month title. Those who earned the title advanced into the running for 2010′s last Fav poll.

They might list Woody Guthrie, Wilco, and Ennio Morricone as their three major influences, but The Lonely Wild has a sound like no other. And if their adept playing of guitar, keys, and percussion doesn’t leave you in awe, the inexplicable heart and soul they put in their music is sure to have you hooked. ”Dead End” lingers upon a dreamy, emphatic woefulness that captures the very essence of that mood between loneliness and care-free intrigue. “Right Side of the Road” is alternative country at its best, with soft vocals and an old western-movie feel that complements the witty lyrics “it’s all a game when you’re born on the right side of the road.”
